Chattanooga Tree Project partners with local businesses, medical groups, offices, and corporate teams to host memorable, hands-on volunteer events. Whether you’re looking for meaningful team-building, a sustainability initiative, or a way to give back to the communities where your employees live and work, we can help.
What will your team do?
Your group will participate directly in our mission to grow a healthier, more equitable urban tree canopy by:
• Planting trees in priority neighborhoods • Support community residents and local partners • Learn proper tree planting techniques
What to know before applying
• Minimum group size: 10 • Maximum group size: 60 • Events typically last 3-4 hours (weekday + weekend availability) • Tools and PPE are provided by us *We will need at least 3 weeks notice to plan a group event. Volunteers must be over the age of 14 and all attendees must sign a waiver.
Donations
There is no cost to join one of our regularly scheduled plantings (as available). For a private planting event, a donation is strongly encouraged.
Your support directly fuels our ability to plant more trees, expand our workforce development program.
